4 . Preparing to move
- Book removalists as soon as possible
- Pack and label all your boxes
- Check your insurance covers for damage for goods in transit
- Defrost the fridge and freezer
- Turn off water, gas and electricity
- Lock up securely and hand over keys to agent or new owner
- Ensure Insurance is in place for your new home
